Fellow mercenaries,
it's been a while since we have written our last update, thank you for all the direct feedback in the last months, it's been great to see that MONSTER LANDS has been played throughout the world in these times, making confinement a little more bearable.
Before we get to our project announcement, we also have some news on the Monster Lands front: encouraged by the positive reviews of the solo version, and looking for ways we could create something useful for the confiment periods, we have created something special for you: with the help of the Tabletopia team we programmed all the scenarios from the solo-mode campaign on Tabletopia.com!
You can now play the solo campaign without set-up time, and interrupt it at any time to later pick up the session where you left it. The kids won't move the table, the cat won't chew your dice :) You'll just need a free Tabletopia account. Check it out here!
Of course we are aware that Tabletopia isn't a match for playing the game physically (especially given the cool components of the game), but in these strange times the free online version may come in handy.
But let's come to the even more exciting thing to talk about, our next Kickstarter project:
The game by Raul Luque is an asymmetric blast, and you can read more about it here, for now we just want to share some images we just created and are super hyped for. We commissioned the development of the minis of the KS-exclusive deluxe edition to BigChild Creatives (they are a high-end studio and create the minis for many CMON games, among others) and WOW, they did a superb job at translating the cartoon style illustrations byIsaac Murgadellato fantastic minis, they look so awesome!!!

And that's just for starters, there are so many other cool minis and other material in this fast-playing chase & escape game. The deluxe edition will be a minis game you will actually get to the table a lot (unlike some other minis games we all are proud to own), as it addresses both gamers and families, plays in around 10-15 minutes per player and offers huge replay value given its asymmetric nature.
Oh, and did we mention it is a reverse action programming game??? What's that?

Fellow Mercenaries,
we are happy to tell you that the development of a new expansion for Monster Lands is progressing smoothly! We plan to run a KS campaign in 2020, after our KS campaign for CACTUS TOWN and another project yet to be revealed. No "sneak peak" yet, but let us say that a new Monster is looming... stay tuned!!!
In the meantime, be aware that today is the last day of our late pledge sale, which also includes the previously unavailable promo cards of Dice Tower and Man vs Meeple. Remember, you as a backer get a 3€ discount with this voucher code: PERSUASION
And for those of you who want something REALLY special and unique, we have produced a limited edition of TRANSLUCENT version of the custom strength/magic/persuasion/ammunition dice.

some time ago we told you we'd be opening a late pledge sale with a limited number of copies of the KS edition. The sale is now open.
Is this relevant info for you?
For one we wanted to ensure you that the value of your own copy is not diluted, in fact, because of suboptimal production and logistics cost, new buyers will have to pay a significantly higher price than you did (apart from getting the game a year later) and there are only few copies (less than 150).
But we also wanted to inform you because we are giving access to the Promo cards of Man vs Meeple and Dice Tower, which hadn't been offered anywhere but in their respective funding campaigns yet.
In case you are a completionist, you may want these, and as original backer you should have preferred access. That's why we give you a 3€ discount voucher, which you can use to reduce the promo cards price from 5€+shipping to 2€+shipping.

Round-Up Monster Lands - Replacements operation complete - New languages - Review review

it is more than half a year now that we delivered Monster Lands to you and it is time for a round-up. The reception by you backers has been great, thank you so much for the overwhelmingly positive feedback!
Replacement operation update
While the campaign itself was a blast for everyone involved, it is also fair to say that the production issues we had with various components were a real nightmare... for some of you, but even more so for us. All the more reason to celebrate that the "replacement operation" is nearly finished, there are just some exceptional cases we will still need to work on (e.g. those who claimed after the claim deadline). THANK YOU all for your patience, while we were getting this solved!
New Rulebook Languages: Dutch - Italian - Polish - Portuguese
Thanks to the help of many volunteers, we can add 4 more languages to the rulebook roster. You can click on the images below to download them from BGG. If you find any typos or errors that need fixing, please comment directly on the respective BGG page, so we can keep track and update the files.
This takes the total number of translations to 10, bearing in mind that English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Czech already existed (a repeated THANK YOU for everyone involved in those!).
Review Review
Monster Lands has gotten a solid 7.5 rating on BGG, and as usual with board games, there are lovers and haters, too :) With more ratings, the game will climb in the boardgame ranking, so make sure you leave your vote here... that is if you like it, of course, otherwise don´t bother :D
The game also got plenty of video and written coverage, have a look here at the collection of more than 50 youtube videos. When the game gets voted into the top spot of the "Top games of the month" by a reviewer like recently by Germany's SpieleDinos (thank you, Melie, a real honor) it is especially satisfying.

Now that Monster Lands is wrapped up, we are concentrating on CACTUS TOWN, our next Kickstarter Project, on B-Sieged II and another game in the pipeline. Also, (and this information is mostly interesting for the Spanish backers) we will be publishing the Spanish versions of SUB TERRA and GORUS MAXIMUS, two excellent games.
